Calculate Voltage Drop for Subset of Project
Be able to recalculate the voltage drop for just a portion of the project when updating the schedule.

Fewer Tick Marks and Circuit Labels on Combined Homeruns
Have an option for combined homeruns that will display tick marks and a circuit callout on the loop where the circuits change.
For example, if you have a circuit like this:
<-----(1)------(1)------(3)------(3)
It would insert a circuit label and tick marks between the devices on circuit 1 and 3.
P-1,3<-----(1)------(1)---3--(3)------(3)

RV Park and Marina Branch Circuit Calculations
For RV Parks and Marinas, be able to model the pedestals or shore power receptacles as equipment connections, and use the feeder calculations on the branch circuits for breaker sizing and voltage drop purposes.

Customizable tick marks
DesignMaster currently supports the following tick marks during an "Insert tick mark" operation:
- Hots
- Neutral
- Ground
- Iso ground
- Switch leg
- Traveller
- Space
We'd like the option to include customizable tick marks in addition to the ones already implemented above. For example, we include tick marks for low voltage cabling used to dim luminaries on our drawings.
I imagine the customization being performed through Design Master Electrical Options under the "Tick Mark Blocks" section. There'd be a "Customized tick mark 1 name" option and another option called "Customized tick mark 1 block". These customized tick marks would then show up in…

Recurring Low Voltage Panel
Create recurring low voltage panels that work like standard recurring panels.

Per-Circuit Wire Callout Option
Be able to enable or disable the wire callout on a homerun on a circuit-by-circuit basis.

Default elevations for all electrical devices
You can specific a default elevation for light fixtures in the schedule. Expand this functionality to all types of electrical devices.

Use commas or spaces to separate voltage, #poles, #wires ect for equipment callouts
Currently information on the equipment call out is all grouped together without separation. We have had this requested several times by our clients who would like this changed on our drawings. To currently meet this request we are spending to much time adjusting these individually.

Locate and edit schedules within groups to create T.I. voltage drop and other schedules that don't include the entire project.
When there is T.I. work within a large project you want to show only the the voltage drop for the TI space. You have to deselect all the equipment not in the space one at a time to show a voltage drop schedule for just the TI work. What if you could group the panels in a similar way to luminaires so that the TI voltage drop or fault schedule has only the TI panels, without disabling the ability to show a schedule for the main project or another TI within that project.

Right click when entering Duct Labels to Rotate Label
Similar to how you can right click to add leader lines when labeling diffusers, it would be helpful to be able to right click duct labels to rotate them instead of making this a two step process. Also, rotating it would remove the arrow that sometimes accompanies the duct label.

Existing Loads & Metered Demand
Include, in options, the ability to not include existing (layered) items in panel, feeder, and service calculations. I'd like to enter the load to keep track of it, but have the ability to exclude it from the load calculations since "existing" would be included in the metered demand load.

Generator Load Calculations
Calculate generator loads correctly, mostly by being able to specify that certain loads should not be included in the generator load.

Edit Fixture Units in "Edit Multiple Pipes" Command
The Edit Multiple Pipes command needs to have the ability to change fixture units. Sometimes I forget to add fixture units to hot and cold water pipes I'm copying to other sink or shower locations and then I have to change each one individually or erase them and copy them again after I've added fixtures units to the first one to be copied. The current project I'm working on is a large university sports complex with a lot of locker rooms so you can imagine the number of showers, sinks and toilets, etc.

'Capped Ductwork for Future Use' command
This is similar to the 'end cap' command, but would draw a 'capped for future use' symbol on the end of a duct branch.

Dash in Empty Schedule Cells
Include an option to print a "-" (a dash) in schedule cells if nothing is printed in them.

Query Low Voltage Device
Query command does not show circuit connection for low voltage devices. We typically have low voltage devices connected to different panels, and querying the device to determine the panel to which it is circuited would be nice.

Automatically Add "ON" prefix to homerun labels for which a homerun already exists.
It is customary for circuits that are shared on opposite ends of a building or from one floor to the next to be identifed with multiple homerun symbols, with all but one of those homeruns labeled with "ON <Panel-Ckt>" rather than connecting with a loop. Currently, to do this, the homerun text itself must be modified, and this rarely works well because that text reverts back to the default <Panel-Ckt> text each time the circuits are updated.

Redefine Panel Schedule Blocks
Add a command to automatically erase and reinsert panel schedules so that attribute locations are updated correctly.
Currently, you have to manually erase the schedule, redefine the block, and reinsert the schedule.
