Change Voltage of Project
Be able to change voltage of a completed project for 208V to 240V and keep everything connected and circuited.

Luminaire energy code settings should default to "input VA" for Watts & "schedule descrip." for description
This would save two extra input steps in most cases. You could still click into the box to edit the Watts and Description.

Export schedules to excel
My estimators are always asking me if they can get my fixture or panel schedules in an excel format.

Query Low Voltage Device
Query command does not show circuit connection for low voltage devices. We typically have low voltage devices connected to different panels, and querying the device to determine the panel to which it is circuited would be nice.

Convert panel schedules to tables
Convert panel schedules to use the AutoCAD table feature so they are more customizable.

Print Full Panel Schedules to 8.5x11 Sheets
Print full panel schedules, exactly as shown on the drawing, to a printer using 8.5x11 paper.
One specific use for these panel schedules would be to be submitted to Labor and Industries in Washington state for review.

Provide a button (or perhaps under the Cir Opts button) for quicker selection of "Display tick marks on loops"
I've given up on loop tickmarks for lighting loops (because of all the energy code relay and occupancy sensor requirements); but I still do tickmarks on power loops. It would be great to be able to more quickly toggle between displaying tickmarks on loops.

Equipment circuit label should be near the equipment symbol--not the equipment label.
We often turn off printing of equipment label/leader, and use a keynote number with arrow instead. But we have to move the circuit to the equipment symbol, because it ends up under the equipment label (which we are not printing).

Automatically Add "ON" prefix to homerun labels for which a homerun already exists.
It is customary for circuits that are shared on opposite ends of a building or from one floor to the next to be identifed with multiple homerun symbols, with all but one of those homeruns labeled with "ON <Panel-Ckt>" rather than connecting with a loop. Currently, to do this, the homerun text itself must be modified, and this rarely works well because that text reverts back to the default <Panel-Ckt> text each time the circuits are updated.

Add a select similar command for devices similar to AutoCAD and AutoCAD MEPs select similar command
I would like to right click on a device already on the plan, and hit select similar rather than having to open up a separate dialogue to pick a device/LVD/Light Fixture device, and then place it. In other words, I'd like to bypass the select device dialogue altogether whenever possible.

Low-Voltage lighting systems - Transformers and light fixtures for 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems.
Make possible not only the easy DM insertion of these devices onto the lighting plan but also the ability to account for these in the panel schedule and load calculations.

Redefine Panel Schedule Blocks
Add a command to automatically erase and reinsert panel schedules so that attribute locations are updated correctly.
Currently, you have to manually erase the schedule, redefine the block, and reinsert the schedule.

Current Limiting Panel
For limiting the current to track lights to meet Energy Code budgets, we use Current Limiting Panels like Silver Bullet. We have to manually size the circuit breakers based on the load on the lighting circuit. The breakers which might be 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 amps, etc. will only handle up to about 80% of their rating due to inrush current to ballasts and LED drivers. So, there is a lot of trial and error and manual calculating to size the breakers. Then the Current Limiting Panel schedule or diagram is updated manually in Acad, which introduces errors and…

Add horsepower of individual loads on mcc schedules
The MCC schedule doesn't have the ability to show horsepower values for the individual loads. This is important information for the MCC vendor for breaker and overload sizing.

Populate MCC Information Based upon Equipment
The motor control center schedule includes several fields that could be populated from the information entered into the equipment connection devices. These include:
Disconnect fuse size
Starter NEMA size
Starter type (ie, starter description)However, these fields do not populate automatically when the equipment connection devices are circuited to the motor control center. Is there a way to make the motor control center fields automatically pick this information from the equipment connection devices when they are circuited to a motor control center? Is there a way to override automatically populating the starter information into the motor control center when the…

Apply demand factors to loads by phase on panels
NEC demand factors currently are calculated for the whole panel, not for each individual phase. It is possible to load one phase with a load type that has a demand factor (such as a kitchen load) and the other phases with load types that do not (such as continuous). The total load on the panel should account for these differences in demand factors by phase.

Size Transformer Feeders Differently than Other Feeders
Allow transformer feeders to be sized using different size wires than other feeders. In particular, this would be for sizing 800A feeders. Normal panels can use 500kcmil wires, but transformers require 600kcmil.
(The workaround for the moment is to use 500kcmil for your 800A automatic sizing and to manually size the transformers to 600kcmil.)
