Specify fault at upstream device
Be able to specify the fault at the upstream device, rather than at the current device. This feature would be useful when you want to specify the fault at the utility transformer but it is not included in the Revit model.

Calculate feeder voltage drop base upon 80% of upstream breaker capacity
Add a line under voltage drop in the project options that says “Calculate feeder voltage drop base upon 80% of upstream breaker capacity”? In big warehouses we often have main lug only panels that the bussing is rated for more than the breaker feeding it because we need to increase the wire size for voltage drop. The panelboard needs to be larger so the increased wire size for voltage drop will fit the lugs of the panelboard.

Additional voltage drop power factor options
Ability to pick .9 and .95 for power factor in options for voltage drop calculations in addition to the two we have, .85 or Revit.

Revit schedule for breaker trip settings
Add shared parameters for breaker type, MFG, settings so a schedule can be created that show the settings for each breaker that does not have fixed settings.

Auto update the feeder lengths on single line
when we move a panel/equipment, the feeders should not break, they should change their lengths as we move the panel connected to it, so that we don't have to refeed the whole thing again

Size Motor Disconnect using NEC 430.110
Add a feature to size and label motor disconnects.
NEC 430.110 calls for 115% of the full-load current rating of the motor.
We could also include an option to require the disconnect to be at least as large of the OCPD rating of the circuit.
Also an option for a specific size selected by the user.
And an option for a specific custom value if you want to indicate something such as "With unit" or "Not required".
Finally, a list of acceptable sizes to use for the disconnect. A default list of standard sizes would be included but you could…

Customize Parallel Run Labeling
Add customization options for how multiple parallel runs are labeled for wires.
DM currently labels multiple sets with the number of sets in parenthesis before the full wire callout:
(3) 3-1/2"C, 4-600kcmil, 3/0G
If you are interested this feature, indicate in the comments how you would like the multiple runs labeled.

DC arc flash
Incorporate DC Arc Flash calculations. A lot of design work now has an element of renewable energy devices - solar, wind, etc. And many of those have battery 'peak shaving' capability. Being able to calculate both AC and DC arc flash given the electrical model will provide a one-stop-shop for arc flash. I would not rely so heavily on SKM. Thanks!

Add "Panel Neutral" in Revit MEP
Add "Panel Neutral" as a parameter to panels in Revit MEP.
Options for neutral would be:
50%
100%
133%
200%
NoneThis value would be a shared parameter for scheduling purposes. It would not be used in any calculations.

Custom Parameter Push for Panel Edit and Circuit Edit
This dovetails with another topic about circuit comments. I would like to see a function where panel edit has maybe 2 or 3 custom user params that get pushed onto the one-line diagram symbols similar to the way the ratings are pushed in. Preferably this would be mappable onto shared parameters as implemented recently with many of the other parameters. This would allow us to tag owner required values like "previous panel name" or ratings that DM does not natively support like KW/KVA ratings of generators and UPSs.
Additionally, being able to have a couple custom parameters in circuit edit…

Add 15kV feeders / medium voltage feeders as an option for all calculations.
Add 15kV feeders / medium voltage feeders as an option for all feeder calculations. While not as common as 600V feeders, several projects do require medium voltage systems and calculations. Having to input these feeders as custom is time consuming

Calculate Whole Project on Workshared Project
On large workshared projects, it's virtually impossible to find a single time in a 24-hour window where no one is working on the electrical model. This means someone always has ownership of something, and this prevents us from calculating the whole project. It would be nice if the tool could work around checked out elements and just make a note of which elements were not updated. Right now, we get errors about other users having ownership, and then all the changes appear to be rolled back.

voltage drop
Would like to have the ability at instance edit or circuit edit to be able to select load or 80% of breaker for the calculation in lieu of only having overall project level option.

Make Link > Select from Model a separate button
When linking many items on large projects, the Link window can begin to slow down dramatically since it loads all the equipment in the project into the tree. It would be nice if we could use the Select from Model option without having to load the rest of the Link dialog box.

Relink Detail Items copied to a new drafting view
Our risers are so large that we typically use multiple drafting views for each substation. When loads get refed from one substation to another, I need to cut and paste the transformers, the disconnects, and the panels to the second drafting view, then link all of them all over again. It would be nice if there was a re-link button I could use, where I just select all the items I have pasted then run the tool to re-link them all in one go.
