Highlight Duct Sizes That Changed After Resizing Ductwork
For large sprawling duct systems it is difficult to monitor all the duct sizes that change. When you calculate and redraw a single branch, all the ducts are erased and redrawn. This makes it difficult to know which duct sizes changed and which stayed the same.

Change default "max depth" setting for ductwork
Add an option for the default "max depth" value that is used when you insert a new duct. Currently it always starts at 24 and you have to remember to change it if you want something different.

Add an option to the "Duct: Edit Multiple" dialog that allows users to choose whether to preserve duct endpoint connections or not.
So if I query and individual duct section and change the elevation of either end, the ducts the ends are connected to also change elevation to preserve the connection between the endpoints. If I "edit multiple" on several duct sections and change the endpoint elevations, the other duct sections connected at those points do not change elevation to preserve the connection. Sometimes, changing the elevation of one endpoint without keeping any other endpoints attached is what I want, and sometimes I wish the connections were all preserved. I think there should be a drop-down, a radio button, or something on…

Provide Weight or Area of Ducts in Takeoffs
Weight of ducts in HVAC Takeoffs provide a very simple way to estimate cost of projects.
Or, add an option to calculate square feet of sheet metal ductwork.

Allow diffuser tags to be moved and modified with standard AutoCAD editing commands.
It would be helpful to not have to use the "special" DM commands to manipulate the diffuser tags.

Use correct fittings
The pressure drop calcs indicate the wrong fitting types in some cases. For example, a fitting that begins with "SD" stands for "Supply/Diameter" and "SR" stands for "Supply/Rectangular", etc. If you have a duct system that is all rectangular, there should not be any SD fittings indicated. Likewise for round systems, there should not be any SR fittings indicated.

Modify design load calculations and output to accommodate VAV system selection
Modify design load calculations to more accurately size/select VAV boxes. The revised calculations would take into account the heat required to overcome the additional air supplied to the VAV box that is over and above the minimum required in the heating calculations. This will help since the additional air is typically at 55 degrees and will actually add heat load to the space in addition to that required by the envelope and minimum supply air. In some cases this can be a significant load.
