Light Fixture Settings - Different Blocks
The ability to define an egress fixture as the same fixture/block as the normal fixtures, with an option to turn a hatch on/off to differentiate. Similar to in Revit, where you can set an instance parameter and check it to turn fixtures into the egress blocks. The fixture type stays the same, only the visible block changes.

I created a DM dynamic block that give me the capability to put directional arrows and single/double lit signs. I was able to erase 12 DM blocks using this method.

Having multiple selectable blocks for a fixture would be handy for fixtures that can be mounted vertically or horizontally. I don't know if this would be a feasible add to this wish.

Tim,
I'm trying to figure out the way to implement the dynamic blocks. Had some success, but would take any help you could offer. -

We use dynamic blocks to do this. It is relatively simple to implement.

I merged a similar idea into this one. The description for the other idea was:
"The light fixture schedule allows you to enter lumens/lamp for fixture operation for both general lighting and egress lighting. When we insert the light fixture, we can check a box to include the fixture for general or egress or both photometric calcs. This puts fixtures on the plan with the same callout for both general and egress light fixtures.
"As a way to automatically differentiate between the two. For example, put an "(E)" (remove the quotes) after the fixture type or something else (even an asterisk) to indicate an emergency egress fixture, i.e. L(E), or L*. We would then add a note at the end of our fixture schedule that indicates light fixtures
indicated as (E) are emergency type or put it in the remarks column of the schedule."
