Photometrics becoming bigger and better
Its a great and amazing feature to be able to do photo metrics right in AutoCAD. Along the same lines of how great DM works in AutoCAD. But if there was a way to make it work more precise and user friendly. Be able to implement some of the same features of Visual and AGI would be amazing. Making it your one shop stop do doing photo calcs etc. One thing that would be great to is if it could utilize the IES files and auto populate some of the light fixture specs.
Finished for DM Electrical 8.2. See comments for more info.

For DM Electrical 8.2, we've added the auto-populating of the fixture schedule from the IES file and fixture templates when inserting fixtures.
If there are other features you would like to see added to photometrics, let us know with another feature request.

Auto-populating the IES file characteristics for a fixture into the fields would be a big help.

I've suggested this before, but what makes me continue to first use Visual, then DM is the fixture templates that you see as you place fixtures. They give you a feel for how wide the fixture will throw - as you place it. I'd love to see DM implement light distribution templates for fixtures.
