Adding Further Pipe Symbols
All of these symbols came up on one particular project, please leave comments on common plumbing symbols that I may have missed. Adding in these symbols and the corresponding isometric representations would greatly reduce the amount of time required to create each one of them by hand on both models. The following are the symbols that I found would be useful additions:
- Mixing valves
- Water heaters
- Grease interceptor
- Sample wells for grease interceptors
- Cleanout
- Cleanout to grade
- Two-way cleanout
- Backflow preventer
- Water filter

A few more symbols would be nice.
- Wall Cleanout
- Angle stops - all the symbol has to be is a small X that aligns with the pipe.
- Vent through roof symbolWater Heaters and Water Softeners and Grease Interceptors would be nice but there are so many varied sizes, unless there are just a lot to choose from or a way to size them when you place them then its probably better to custom make those to the size you typically use I would think.
( I suggest most of this because I have utterly failed at making anything on my own)
