Object Enabler for Navisworks
Create an object enabler for Navisworks to allow the 3D ductwork, pipes, conduit, and cable tray to be viewed directly from the DWG without requiring it to be exported to an IFC file.

Answering your 2nd question.
Exporting a DWG that we would then import into Navisworks would be satisfactory.Answering your 3rd question.
Individual faces would be ok, but not desired. -
Question: there are a few parts to this request, and I'm curious how important each of them are.
1. Create a DWG rather than an IFC. I know this is important. You want to be able to export a DWG to Navisworks.
2. Not export. Is this important? If we exported a DWG file that you imported to Navisworks rather than an IFC file, would that work? Or is it important that you import your working drawing directly with no export required?
3. Object enabler. Is this important? Or if we created our solids as individual faces in the drawing (like what happens if you explode the solid), would that work?

I feel that this would be extremely beneficial. From an elevation perspective Autocad displays all the contents, only allowing you to zoom in and out. I know of the object isolate function, however that is very limiting to perspective of the complete work. Anything that performs the function of Navisworks to give you a realistic view of the entire area is a plus. I do not believe the clash detection function of Navisworks is required when you are only trying to layout pipes and view how they interact with other 3D elements. This would be a great addition to the program
