One-Line Export to Drafting Views
If there was a way to have the export of one line diagrams go to drafting views instead of populating external dwgs?

SET TITLE COLUMN LABLES ORDER IN GRILLE SCHEDULE
Make it so that in the master configuration a user can preset which columns and labels they would like and in the order in which they are displayed. That way they are preset every time and would have save time setting up from project to project
1 voteThis feature already exists. See the comments for instructions on how to use it.

Unique ID for each feeder in the project
Assign a unique ID to each feeder in a project that can be scheduled in Revit and displayed in the AutoCAD one-line diagram.
2 votesThis feature can be handled in DM Electrical RT 2.1.2. The EVOLVE integration included a Conduit ID field for each feeder that is unique.

Auto one-line riser diagram for Plumbing
Automatically creates and continuously update a single line riser diagram for plumbing, similar to the electrical one-line riser diagram tool
1 voteThis feature exists in DM Plumbing for AutoCAD. We do not have any plans to pursue a similar feature for Revit MEP.

Upsize Ground Wire Automatically
When upsizing conductors for voltage drop, automatically upsize the ground wire too based upon the increase in wire area.
7 votesImplemented for DM Electrical 8.5. We considered patching it in to 8.4 but it ended up being a pretty significant change so it has to wait for the next major release.
-
Electrical elevation label
Create a label that will display the elevation of a device and update automatically when the elevation changes.
3 votesThis feature was added in DM Electrical 8.7.
-
Import and Export Customization Settings
Be able to import and export customization settings from a project (options, conduit sizes, wire sizes, and wire ampacities).
2 votesThis feature is completed and will be included in DM Electrical RT 1.2 when it is released.
-
Calculate Fault at Equipment Connections
Be able to mark equipment connections to be included in the fault calculation.
1 voteWe added this feature in DM Electrical 8.5.
-
Calculate Fault at Disconnects
Be able to calculate the fault at equipment disconnects.
1 voteThis feature is completed for the next release of DM Electrical RT (either 1.5 or 2.0, depending on what our marketing department decides to call it).

Voltage Drop at Panels on One-Line Diagram
With all the other information that can be inserted into the One-line diagram (feeder size & length, etc.) it would be helpful to also add Voltage Drop percentage for each feeder as well. For longer feeders this is required and it would make it much easier to see the big picture if it was all in one place rather than possibly spread out over several sheets for larger jobs.
1 voteGood news! This feature is already completed and will be included in DM Electrical 8.4.
-
Custom Transformer Impedance and XR Ratio
Be able to create a custom table of impedance and XR ratio values for transformers based upon the kVA. Currently the default values are fixed. If you always use different values, you have to manually change them every time.
0 votesThis feature is completed and will be included in DM Electrical RT 1.2 when it is released.

IECC Calculation
It would be nice to be able to incorporate the IECC forms for the lighting in DM
1 voteThis is part of the COMCheck export that is included in DM Electrical 8.3. Instructions for how to make this work are available here:

Default one-line labels for dynamically sized one-line blocks
By default, creating a one-line diagram generates panel blocks with dynamically sized width to accommodate the number of outgoing connections. This is because the default riser block for panels is set to <Custom Panel Box with Bus>. As a result, a panel that feeds three other panels will have a one-line block three times as wide as a panel which feeds only one panel.
If a user wants to generate one-line diagrams which include a default set of labels, they first have to create a one-line block containing the desired labels from entities in the drawing. However, when the user…
2 votesThis is completed for DM Electrical 8.4.

Fill in "Schedule Circuit Note" based upon family type
We want a parameter in a family type to fill in the “schedule circuit notes”. We think that would be invaluable to mention things like fuse size, GFCI breaker requirements, etc.
1 voteThis feature is completed and will be included in DM Electrical RT 1.2 when it is released.
-
Change breaker size in Panel Schedule based on Revit family parameter
Change breaker size in Panel Schedule based on Revit family type parameter.

One-Line Diagram: Fixed feeder IDs
Be able to have fixed feeder IDs in a project. Two possible uses:
When a new feeder is added, it won't change the IDs on all the other feeders. Not a problem during early design, but it is a problem when the drawings are under change control. Having to bubble all of the feeder IDs makes it look like a bigger change than it actually is.
Be able to have consistent ID names across projects. A specific feeder configuration would have a common name, making it easier to read plans for different projects.
Also be able to have feeder ID…
